02/11/2008	Quantum of Solace cinema trip	Parkway Cinema	I wounder how many air miles Mr Bond has! Just about every capital city was visited. Good film, the previous Bond film was better.
01/11/2008	Fireworks Display	Waltham Windmill	The firework went of with a good band. A little chilly, warmed up in the pub afterwards with an extra cold Guinness.
31/10/2008	Halloween pub crawl	Meet Tap and Spile	What a good night! Lots of people out in town with fancy dress on, you looked more out of it with your normal gear on!
24/10/2008	Moths ate my Doctor Who scarf play	Riverhead Theatre, Louth	A comedy as bezar as the name itself suggests.
12/10/2008	Aqua Ski	Ingoldmells, Skegness	Obsolutely fabulous Darling! Adele managed 2.5 laps, Paul 0.75 laps. Prize goes to the best body surfing. A must early next year.
28/09/2008	Alton Towers trip	Alton Towers	Great day loved the rides, a few queues. The journey home was as good an adventure as the Alton Towers rides.
19/09/2008	Rotary Conference (Sat-Sun)	Harrogate	Rotaract did a 10 minute presentation to Rotary in form of 'Who wants to be a Rotaracter'. It was well received & we even made them laugh to it must have been good!
13/09/2008	Ceilidh	Poplar Road, Healing	Made a change, it was outside. A good laugh, Kate & Faye did more talking than dance (not really that suprising).
11/09/2008	Quiz	Kings Head	Wow a few less in the team than normal & we did better! A team called the oldies won. Who said experience don't count!

29/08/2008	Cinema trip - Hellboy	Parkway Cinema	Mark enjoyed it. The film critic “Paul” fell asleep for most of the film so was less critic than normal.
27/08/2008	Ten Pin Bowling Challenge with Cleethorpes Rotary	Bowling Alley, Cleethorpes	Good evening. Don't think we won! May have been something to do with the man who brough his own balls.
23/08/2008	Murder Mystery night with buffet	Adeles House	Started with a Royal toast. No one had any better ideal who the murder was at the end of the night. Francesca gets the prize for best ad-libber. Scott was an excellent waiter. Marks choc dessert was nice. The night ended with head to head poker match between Midge & Rich finishing at 4.30am. Midge just happened to bring his poker chips on the off chance.

29/07/2008	Diary of Anne Frank	Caxton Theatre	The diary of Anne Frank play. Excellent acting with a few light hearted moments in an otherwise very serious play.
21/06/2008	BBQ & Poker (7pm)	Midge's house	Midge and Ivan's birthday bash was sadly slightly curtailed due to the ever reliable British weather, so unfortunately no barbecue. Poker however went ahead as planned eventually finishing around 2 in the morning with Midge reigning champ.
23/05/2008	Pizza & drinks	Pizza Hut	Wow, another large party at Pizza Hut. Guess who made the most noise?  Rotaract of cause!! Managed to snaffle a balloon from the other table. Some daft apoth bought the balloon of us for £1 to sound like tweety pie.
10/05/2008	Cottage weekend	Grasmere, Lake District.	Fantastic 10 mile walk up 3 different mountains including Helvellyn for the fit amoungst us ending up in the pub for a pint of real ale & flat 5 mile walk round the lake including an obligatory stop at a tea shop for the amatures. Best part Ivan & Stan in bed together.

08/12/2007	Christmas Party	Millfields Hotel	Never seen so many super hero's in 1 room! We cheered the hole place up, great food. Finished at someones house on the whisky & sambuca.
01/12/2007	Night out in Grimsby	Meet at Old Weatherspoons	Faye went out all dressed up & Adele did not even recogniser her. Faye ordered a malibu & coke, the 17 year old bar man asked her for ID. She gave the gut a hug, but still would not serve her!
30/11/2007	Cinema night	Parkway Cinema, Cleethorpes	Sleuth total rubbish. Six people went to see it & 2 walked out. We lasted to the bitter end!

23/03/2007	Wines tasting	Adele's house	Good night, tasted 8 different wines from white & fizzy, through Rosa to Melton. Rather sozzled by the end of it.
